Job Summary:

Englewood Health seeks a Coordinator for our School of Radiology to plan, coordinate and oversee all facets of clinical education within the School of Radiography in accordance with current State and National Standards, for students enrolled in the Diagnostic Radiography School, which will enable them to achieve national registration. The Coordinator maintains a full classroom teaching load in a variety of subjects.

 

Department: School of Radiography

Location: Englewood, NJ

Status: Full Time  Shift: Day 

Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm (Monday-Friday)

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares draft syllabi, lesson plans, course objectives and written/ practical testing examinations for all subjects assigned for the review/approval by the Program Director/Educational Coordinator
  • Supervises classes and demonstration sessions in technical aspects of radiography and related theory, including laboratory instruction, demonstration and application relating to radiographic equipment usage for student radiographers.
  • Follows the JRCERT Standards pertaining to clinical instruction, including image evaluation sessions, clinical competency evaluation and testing for student radiographers.
  • Prepares clinical room rotation schedules, and assists in planning weekly/ monthly class and clinical assignment schedules.

 

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

  • A minimum of three (3) years clinical experience as an R.T.
  • Two (2) or more years experience as a Clinical Instructor.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a variety of curricula contents.
  • Proven ability in the areas of student testing and evaluation.

 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required


License/Certification/Registry:

  • NJ Radiology Tech License
  • ARRT Registry
