Description
The Emory University School of Medicine General and Gastrointestinal Surgery Division, a US News ranked program, is seeking General Surgeons with Critical Care Board Eligibility or Certification to be part of the General Surgery Faculty Practice (non-trauma) at Emory Hillandale campus, which will include responsibility for care of ICU/eICU patients in the Emory Critical Care Center, particularly at the DeKalb Operating Units.
These will be faculty members at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank who are eager to join our team primarily at the Hillandale Campus. Those interested in Health Services Delivery Research for the community are particularly well-suited. Emphasis is placed on faculty diversity, equity and inclusion. General surgery board certification or eligibility, and additional skills and training are highly desirable (colorectal, robotics, minimally invasive, endocrine, abdominal wall). Start time will be Fall 2023.
