What's Under the Hood

DriveTime Family of Brands includes in-house financing and servicing through Bridgecrest, which is one of the country's leading financial servicing providers. Bridgecrest services roughly $17 billion in finance receivables for DriveTime and other third parties. We service auto loans across a wide credit spectrum with the intent of creating a strong path to vehicle ownership for our customers.

That's Nice, But What's the Job?

In short, the Senior Manager's primary responsibility is to lead the Servicing Managers and Advisors within their assigned teams to ensure expected results and objectives are achieved.

In long:

  • Provide guidance and strategic planning for servicing teams with respect to collection and service goals.
  • Achieve department objectives utilizing all servicing channels and company resources in a continually changing environment.
  • Train and develop leaders and individual career paths to achieve their goals and the company's goals and advance through a career path.
  • Develop and enhance customer relationships by establishing, promoting, and maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Assist the Leadership Team in ensuring all company-wide initiatives are implemented effectively and in a way that elicits buy-in from direct and indirect reports, maximizes impact, and contributes to meeting or exceeding company goals.
  • Encourage new ideas throughout our operations center and actively support, identify, define, communicate, and implement best practices within the operations center through training and development.
  • Motivate and Inspire team members through development and execution of recognition programs, engagement activities and bidirectional communication paths.
  • Monitors and reviews the work of Collection Managers and their staff to ensure it is within Company, State and Federal guidelines. This includes using tools such as formal account reviews and side-by-side monitoring in order to create development plans to address any deficiencies.
  • Work side-by-side with management and staff employees to observe work processes and practices, provide informal and formal constructive feedback, training and development to ensure effective follow through on improvement plans.
  • Create and maintain partnerships with key leadership, representatives and staff within Bridgecrest, Drive Time Corporate, Drive Time Retail, Carvana Retail, SilverRock and Third-Party Client Companies.
