This is a Part Time, day shift, benefitted position with 48 hours per 2 week pay period. It includes 8 hour varied shifts Monday- Friday in the PreOp-PACU department. No holidays, weekends or Call. It is located at theAmbulatory Surgery Center (Outpatient) at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

We invite you to join our PreOp - PACU recovery team. Within this role your function will be both Pre-Op and PACU providing exceptional patient care.

* Manage pre-op admissions and all surgery prep functions
* PACU recovery of patients through discharge.
* Work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

· Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
· Must remain in original department/specialty
· Must remain in original Job Title
· Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

*Required*

* One (1) year of RN outpatient experience within an Ambulatory Surgery Center or prior ICU experience.
* California Registered Nurse License
* Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
* Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors

*Preferred*

* Bachelor's degree in nursing
* 2 or more years in an ASC
