Ratios 1:4+ for high acuity/IMC patients; ratios can increase from 1:5-6+ if floated to MS/Tele.
RN must have 2 years of experience in an acute care setting
First time travelers accepted
Every other weekend and holiday required
ACLS BLS required; NIH preferred.
RN will float within skillset when not needed on home unit
No block scheduling
Locals accepted
Patient Mix: 28 bed IMC, post CABG, post-op mini valve and TAVRs, and chest tubes. Pre/post cardiac cath, surgery, and hemodialysis. No vents
Required Experience: EPIC charting, interpretation and management of EKG, dressing changes and wound vacs, A-lines, heparin, manage cardiac drips with no titration, PCAs, chest tube, CPAP, and trachs
