Registered Nurse (RN) - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a smaller hospital setting. This role involves providing high-quality post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition post-surgery.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed.
Qualifications:
Current RN license in Oklahoma.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a PACU or critical care setting.
BLS and ACLS certification required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with calm and professionalism.
