This is a Full Time, 12-Hour Night Shift, position located at Scripps Mercy Chula Vista.

We invite you to join our Emergency Services Department at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista where we offer 24-hour emergency care. Join our 24 bed Emergency Services Department as a Registered Nurse (RN) where you will provide direct patient care within the scope of practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications:

* Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
* Active California RN license
* BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Healthcare Provider Certifications through American Heart Association
* 1 year of recent RN experience in an Adult Emergency Services department
* Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors
* Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.

* Bachelor's degree in nursing
* CEN - Certified Emergency Nursing
