**Schedule:** Full Time

**Shift** : Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm / Friday 8am - 1:30pm

**The role you'll contribute:**

The RN Clinical Process Auditor oversees the independent audit activity for clinical processes as it relates to regulatory compliance and areas of identified risk events. This individual interacts with administration, physicians, and clinical team members to improve patient safety and quality. They serve as a resource, educator, and coach to staff and leadership to maximize performance in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Maintains knowledge of current regulatory guidelines and standards and CMS conditions of participation through literature searches

Assesses, plans, organizes, coordinates, conducts and evaluates clinical audit projects across all clinical areas of the hospitals and offsite locations

Liaise with all clinical departments to receive relevant clinical, performance and operational information to determine compliance with regulatory requirements.

Review, interpret and extract information from a variety of sources including policies and procedures, electronic medical records, clinical paper documents.

Provides debriefing both on individual competence and overall unit compliance at the time of the audit to the unit leader

**The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:**

**Minimum qualifications** :

Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing

Current, valid Florida State of Board Nursing Registered Nursing License.

Minimum of five years of healthcare experience in a clinical or administrative management role

**Preferred qualifications:**

Master's degree in healthcare-related field

Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies

CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality)

LHRM (Licensed Healthcare Risk Manager)

HCAP (Healthcare Accreditation Certification Program)
