**Ebenezer managed Amira Choice Assisted Living/Memory Care in Sarasota, FL is looking for a PRN/casual Resident Assistant who will provide personal cares and be trained to pass medications to improve and/or maintain the senior age residents' physical and emotional well-being.**

This caregiver/resident assistant schedule includes:

Casual/PRN schedule - Day, Evening, and Night shift available

Weekends as needed; at least three shifts per month

**Responsibilities/Job Description**

Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.

Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.

May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.

Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff

Assists with onboarding of new staff

**Qualifications**

**Required:**

Ability to communicate optimally, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers

Ability to work in a team setting and support others

Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population

CNA certificated if under 18

**Preferred:**

High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal CNA or HHA course

Previous work experience as HHA, CNA, NA, DSP, PCA
