Join the rehabilitation team at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla as a Rehab Therapy Aide, and partner with experienced therapists (PT, OT and ST) at this Level 1 Trauma Center and engage with a wide variety of patients. This tight-knit and engaged team thrives on teamwork, communication, and attention to detail to provide world class patient care.
· Assist in providing age-appropriate services for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in PT, OT and ST including direct treatment, under appropriate licensed supervision, to individuals and groups, evaluation and selection of adaptive equipment
· Collect data
· Provide admin services
Required:
· High school graduate or equivalent.
· BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
Preferred:* *
· Previous experience working under the direct supervision of a physical/occupational therapist or assistant in an outpatient and/or inpatient acute care setting recommended.
