To provide support to the rehabilitation service through both patient related and non patient related duties.

**Required Qualifications**

AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED

H. S. Diploma or Equivalent

**Essential Functions**

Department competencyThe aide is competent in providing patient care as directed by the supervising therapist within the context of the clinical environment and training aide's verbal/written communication is timely, complete and accurate, follows Sharp HealthCare guidelines. Documentation is co signed by the supervising aide is cooperative and courteous to the customers and demonstrates appropriate awareness of age and cultural needs as part of Sharp HealthCare's commitment to customer satisfaction.

Department supportThe aide maintains the department and treatment areas in safe, clean and orderly aide effectively completes clinical support duties as assigned.

Professional developmentThe aide identifies own needs for skills training and practice opportunities and demonstrates initiative in taking classes or attending programs related to work area.

TeamworkThe aide promotes constructive working relationships and works effectively as a part of the team to facilitate its ability to meet its goals and aide performs duties as necessary for efficient departmental functioning.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**

Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.

Capable of speaking and writing in English.
