Community Health Network has an excellent opportunity available at Community East in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit. We are seeking nurses to commit to a 13-week assignment, working three 12-hour shifts per week and every third weekend. You can complete up to three consecutive contracts. **Exceptional Skills and Qualifications**
-Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
-Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
-At least two full years of recent CPCU/PCU/ICU RN experience is highly preferred
-Must be proficient in Lead 2 EKG interpretation, 12 lead interpretation
-Proficiency in management of IV sedation, Vasoactive drips, and insulin infusions required.
-Proficiency in non-invasive respiratory support including acute BiPAP, Opti flow, trach care required.
-Mechanical ventilation experience is preferred.
Proficiency in arrhythmia, AMI, CHF, COPD, ESRD, CIWA and stroke care management required.
-Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
