Registered Nurse Interventional Radiology Per Diem
**Job Description:**
The Lahey Burlington Interventional Radiology Labs and Interventional Neuro labs are two very busy areas. The Neuro lab has just become stroke certified and is looking to increase volume and establish their emergency response to stroke calls. The IR labs are growing year on year with volume and perform a wide range of procedures.
We are looking for someone with **Critical care experience, ACLS trained,** able to multitask, flexible, hardworking and able to be a team player.
The labs are fast paced, very innovational which makes both areas an exciting ever learning environment. We have a very close, passionate, hardworking team that doesn't leave until the job is done and the patients care has been completed.
**Responsibilities:**
Excellent communication skills.
Moderate sedation of a patient (airway management).
Supporting anesthesia for GA cases.
Maintaining patient safety during all types of Interventional procedures.
Work closely with the pre and post area to ensure the patients care is seamless
Document care in the EMR (EPIC experience a plus)
Willingness to embrace change
Ability to take call 1 night a week and 1 weekend in 6.
**Qualifications**
Nursing Diploma or ASN, BSN preferred
Must have previous Interventional Radiology experience
Critical Care and Telemetry experience preferred
Current Massachusetts registered Nurse license required.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association)
ACLS certification preferred
Demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
Lifting 75 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs
**Shifts:** 7.00am-5.30pm for orientation- 3 month orientation with a preceptor.
Shift times may vary based on procedural schedule.
Hours and Schedule based on department's per diem guidelines and per diem needs
