- Promotes and protects the optimal health status of students
- Provides health assessments
- Obtains a health history
- Identifies abnormal health findings
- Provides for emergency nursing management for injuries/illnesses
- Promotes and assists in the control of communicable disease
- Provides health education and anticipatory guidance
- Provides direct health education
- Serves as a resource person to the school staff members in health instruction
Minimum Requirements
Registered Nurse
CPR Certified
