Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Registered Nurse in St. Louis, Missouri! This role is in person / on site. Please read below and reply with an updated resume for consideration:

**Type:** 6-month contract, opportunity for extension or fulltime offer

**Schedule:** Monday through Friday, part time hours

**Pay:** $40.00 to $45.00 an hour

**Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:**

· Respond to any medical emergency on campus and be able to provide care until the arrival of EMS. This requires the RN to have a basic comfort level in providing unsupervised first aid and emergency care

· Assist the Medical Assistant with day to day activities (hearing testing, vital signs, distributing over the counter medications as requested)

· Basic medical tasks as needed including phlebotomy, completing EKGs and point of care testing (urine dip, strep test, flu test)

· Answer general healthcare questions in topics such as diabetes, blood pressure, minor wound care, over the counter and prescription medication indications, precautions and side effects, and others as needed

**Qualifications for the Registered Nurse:**

· Active, unrestricted RN licensure in Missouri

· BSN degree

· Minimum of five years critical care experience (ER or ICU) within the last 10 years.

· Complete tasks such as drawing blood using both butterfly and needle with vacutainer; administering IM/ ID/SQ injections

· Vision and hearing adequate (or own equipment) to complete tasks such as taking blood pressure and reading medication labels
