Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Fertility and IVF SpecialistJob Description
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at one of the top fertility and in vitro fertilization programs. Our mission involves providing advanced infertility treatment by integrating high-quality patient care, clinical education, and research. The role entails performing daily tasks including patient intake, providing comprehensive patient education, utilizing an EMR system, telephone triage, prior authorizations, ordering diagnostic testing, and participating in research processes as appropriate.
Hard Skills
Current RN licensure in the State of Connecticut
1-2 years of clinical experience as a licensed RN
Experience in reproductive endocrinology, infertility (REI), IVF
Labor and delivery experience or ambulatory surgery with care of anesthetized adult patients
Phlebotomy skills
IV start skills
BSN degree
Soft Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to multitask and focus on details
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle upset patients
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Branford, Connecticut.
Work Environment
The position operates in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that values respect, initiative, and compassion. The schedule includes Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, one weekend every six weeks, and one holiday per year. The role requires commuting between Hartford and Farmington, and occasionally to other satellite/outreach offices.
