Ability to read and communicate in the English language. Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Holds valid RN license.
Master#39;sdegree required, majoring in Clinical Education or Leadership strongly preferred.Knowledge of adult learning principles. Minimum of 5 years R. N. clinical nursing experience, minimum two years preceptor/educator experience, Certification in Nursing Specialty preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with varied levels of the health facility staff and community at large. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint needed. Expertise in use of audiovisual equipment including LCD projector required. BLS instructorship preferred.
