BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a **Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN** ) to join our outstanding and compassionate team at the **Integrated Stabilization Unit in New Port Richey** ! The Integrated Stabilization Unit serves individuals 18 years of age and older who present with a serious and acute mental illness or substance abuse impairment, or with co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse disorders. The innovative approach integrates the services lines of crisis stabilization and detoxification services within the same facility, but tailors the treatment to each individual based on their particular needs. Once the individual's acute care needs are met, the consumer is then transitioned to the next clinically appropriate level of care.

**The LPN Is Responsible for:**
Collaboration and under direction of a Registered Nurse.
Delivery of patient care as directed for assigned patients including medication administration, therapy and interventions.

**Required Certifications and Licensures:**
LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
**Required Education:**
High School or Equivalent
**Experience:**
6 Months Acute Care as a Patient Care Technician
OR 6 months as an Acute Care LPN
**Specific Skills:**
Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position
Organizational, Interpersonal, & Customer Service skills
Work with a team & work with minimal supervision
Written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, & computer skills appropriate to the position
