We are recruiting an LPN to come and join our team!
Position : LPN
Shifts Available :
Day Shift : 6 am- 2:30 pm
Evening Shift : 2 pm-10:30 pm
Overnight Shift : 10 pm- 6:30 am
(We offer flexibility of hours including 8 hr, 10 hr &12 hr shifts)
Weekly Schedules : Monday- Friday, every other weekend
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Manage the nursing care for all patients during your shift
Delegate the shift's tasks to all the nurses in the unit and coordinate with physicians who might need assistance
Recognize changes in patients' condition and respond appropriately
Supervise Nursing Aides as they complete their assigned tasks and point out any changes or improvements that need to be made
Detect any issues that could result in injuries or other difficulties for patients or staff members
Inform physicians of any changes in patients' progress, condition, or medicinal needs
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Under direct supervision of a RN or the facilities DON, the LPN performs nursing duties in the care and treatment of residents. The duties require the use of tact and judgment in the care and treatment of residents. LPN may assist in the supervision of non-professional subordinates. Is cognizant of philosophy , standards , objectives, and policies of the Nursing Department. Day-to-day coordination and oversight of the nursing process for residents assigned to his or her care. Direct and indirect provision of care according to each resident's nursing and medical plan of care and in accordance with state and federal regulations and accepted nursing standards of practice. Performs related duties as required.
Other Requirements:
Active Nebraska LPN license
Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
Attend and participate in the scheduled mandatory in-services and other scheduled meetings
Receives and maintains CPR/First Aid certification
