LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE - LPN - CORRECTIONAL FACILITY
CareerStaff Unlimited is looking to hire an experienced LPN for a correctional facility inTallahassee, FL!Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of recent corrections experience, a strong focus on patient care, and feel confident in evaluations and working with a multi-disciplinary role offers 12-hour day shifts over a13-weekduration with 36 hours guaranteed weekly. Extension options may be available at the end of the contract. In addition to our standard benefits, our LPN professionals are preferred in a number of facilities and hospitals in the area. MORE ABOUT THELICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE - LPN- CORRECTIONS POSITION:
* Provide a basic level of general nursing care to forensic clients, patients and inmates with mental, emotional, or developmental disabilities
* Provide care under the clinical direction of a registered nurse or physician
* The ability to easily integrate into new settings
* Knowledge of various computer systems
* A desire to expand nursing skill set or varied experience
JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THELICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE:
* 1 year of corrections experience
* Must be eligible to work in the United States
* BLS (Basic Life Support) issued through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
* Active LPN license in Florida
