Adecco Medical & Science is hiring a **full-time, permanent Infection Control Nurse in Newark, NJ!** In this role you must have very in-depth knowledge of infection control and vaccines, including COVID and be able to understand infection control. **Duties:**
Plan, develop, organize, evaluate, coordinate and direct infection control program in accordance with current rules.
Ensure that the facility follows current CDC, OSHA and local regulations.
Review and updated policies.
Monitoring and reassuring that everything involving infection prevention is being done.
Maintain infection control precautions and aseptic technique that successfully correct problem areas.
**Requirements:**
Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience with at least one (1) year in long term care.
BLS/CPR Certification
Flexibility, must be able to work a core hours
Weekends or evening work my be required depending on needs, but this will not be an around the clock role.
No on-call responsibilities.
