Employment Terms: This job is a part time , non- benefited , FLSA non-exempt position in the Computer Science Division that reports to the Program Director - Networking

Salary - The targeted hourly r ate for this position is $1 5 . 6 0 per hour.

Schedule: May work up to 19 hours per week

Minimum Qualifications : ( Job Code: H1001 )

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

Some technical college courses preferred (CIST 1122, CIST 1401, and CIST 2411) . Excellent customer service and communication skills required . Should be able to troubleshoot virtual machines, operating system (Windows, Linux, and Unix), hardware, software, Microsoft Office 2013/2016 applications, cd/ dvd burning, and printer issues . Ability to be fle xible in working conditions, schedule s, and be able to lift 15 to 30 lbs . Open to training and skills development. We also require the following skills: attention to detail, ability to multitask, stay on top of deadlines, fast learner, training skills, presentation skills, reporting/documenting capabilities, and excellent people skills . Experience or certification in Net+, Security + , Blackboard , Vmware , Virtualbox , Microsoft Office 2013 /2016 , Banner Web, Browsers, and any other computer certification is a plus . Preference will be given to applicants who are current students at Gwinnett Technical College in the Computer Science Division .
