**Key Responsibilities:**

**Lead and Inspire:** Oversee nursing staff, ensuring high standards of care and professionalism.

**Daily Rounds and Meetings:** Conduct daily rounds and attend morning and afternoon meetings.

**Ensure Compliance:** Stay on top of state compliance, audits, and surveys.

**Patient Care:** Oversee patient care, documentation, and handle any arising issues promptly.

**Team Building:** Foster a positive work environment, set standards, and hold the team accountable.

**Requirements:**

**Experience:** 10 years as a DON with a background in long-term care, including state compliance and survey experience.

**Licenses:** Unencumbered RN state license.

**Education:** Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.

**Special Skills:** Experience with Vents and Trachs.
