SUMMARY
As a Clinical Resource Registered Nurse (RN), you plan, organize, coordinate, evaluate and provide guidance in implementing each patient's plan of care
STATUS: Full Time
LOCATION: Rochester General Hospital
DEPARTMENT: Surgical ICU Step Down
SCHEDULE: Day/Evening
ATTRIBUTES
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of acute care experience as a licensed RN.
- Strong customer service, communication and computer skills
- Development. Develop the plan of care in conjunction with patient, family and others, utilizing community resources and systems; collaborate with health team members to ensure a comprehensive plan of care; use health promotion and health teaching methods appropriate to the patient's developmental level, learning needs, readiness, ability to learn, language preference and culture
- Evaluation. Consider associated risks, benefits, costs, current scientific evidence and clinical expertise when formulating expected outcomes; modify expected outcomes with changes in the status of the patient or the situation; synthesize available data, information and knowledge to identify patterns and variances
- Leadership. Teach basic physical assessment skills appropriate for the patient's chronological and developmental age; guide others in recognizing and assessing the individual cultural needs of the patient/family/significant other and in developing a comprehensive plan of care
• Current New York State Registered Nursing license

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
- BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
