Hi Everyone,

We have a new opening for a Clinical Nurse- Pre-op/PACU Pre/Post-Op. Performing established nursing procedures using clinical knowledge to care for patients recovering from moderate sedation, general or regional anesthesia. PACU servicing a 21 OR and 10 cath lab suite. Surgical volume includes orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, ophthalmology, neuro, GYN, GU, Robotics. Surgical volume is primarily inpatient and outpatients. Cath lab population include neuro-intervention, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, pulmonary hypertension, interventional radiology patient population. Patient acuity is high reflecting med-surg and ICU patients. This position will be floated within our perianesthesia region.

Skills and Requirements

MINMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education Qualifications

Bachelors Degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited academic institution. (preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

RN - Registered Nurse

BLS - Basic Life Support

ACLS

CPAN preferred

Experience

Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience

Required minimum 2 years ICU (Cardiac preferred).

PACU background preferred in addition to ICU experience null
