**Description**

The Resource RN is a professional Registered Nurse responsible for providing direct patient care in the clinic as well as facilitating patient care flow. This position will facilitate the workflow in the area by conducting nursing assessments, delegating service to and documentation. In addition, this staff member will contribute expertise in the areas of patient scheduling, telephone advice and pharmacy needs. The Resource RN will assist with maintaining compliance to professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements and will support physicians in delivering quality health care to patients taking into account the patients' individual physical or age-related needs.

**Required Qualifications:**

Graduate of school of registered nursing

Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License

Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

1 year Nursing experience in a clinic setting, or 2 years of acute hospital nursing experience

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)

Upon hire: Provider Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association

Ambulatory experience

ER or urgent care experience
