Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADON) - Full-Time

ABCM Corporation - Concord Care Center and Cardinal Grove Independent & Assisted Living () Garner, IA $27.00 to $31.50 per hour

Summary

Under the guidance and direction of the Director of Nursing Services (DON):

Plans for and directs the nursing care, treatments, procedures, and healthcare services to meet resident healthcare needs and personal preferences

Assists with the supervision, development, and implementation of a written health care plan, in cooperation with other disciplines and in accordance with instructions of the attending physician

Assists with the supervision and review of preventative and restorative nursing procedures for each resident so as to achieve and maintain the highest possible degree of function, self-care, and independence.

Qualifications / Requirements

Must have an unrestricted and active Iowa (or compact state) RN or LPN license

Minimum of one (1) year of experience, preferably in Geriatric Nursing with management experience in leading a healthcare team desirable

If licensed as an LPN, the Iowa Board of Nursing requires the completion of a Board-approved supervision course within six (6) months of working in a supervisory capacity - Must have excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English language

Additional Information

Shift: Day Shift, Flex Scheduling

Base Wage: $30.00/hr (RN) and $27.00/hr (LPN), Negotiable (DOE)

Wage Range*: $27.00/hr-$31.50/hr, Negotiable (DOE)

Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.15/hr per year, up to ten (10) years
