A Day in the Life of a Patient Access Specialist - Registration

Start your day by warmly greeting patients, guiding them through the check-in process with ease and professionalism. You'll verify insurance details, update medical records, and ensure all necessary documentation is in place. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with providers and departments to streamline patient flow, helping create a seamless care experience. Whether assisting in-person or over the phone, you'll be the first point of contact, delivering exceptional customer service with empathy and efficiency.

Education and Experience Required Preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is beneficial.
  • Completion of a Health Care Administrative Specialist or similar program.
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology.
Compensation and Benefits

The pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Actual pay rate offered depends on many factors including each individual employee's experience level, preferred education/certifications, along with market conditions.
