Most shifts will be 10:00am-6:30pm

Weekend status will change come October

• Cooks prepare and serve high quality meals to patients, residents, guests and all Medical Center personnel. Cooks must continually strive to maintain the highest possible standards of preparation, service and sanitation. They must also lead the nutrition team toward the achievement of the goals of the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center. High quality care and overall efficiency are essential components to this success.

  • Previous food service experience required.

  • Effective interpersonal relationship skills including good listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in variety of settings and with a variety of people at different organization levels.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and appropriately.
  • Ability to adapt resources to meet the needs of the situation.

• Responsible for preparing all food Medical Center wide and adhering to established menu plans and catering details.
• Serves meals to all residents and patients in accordance with physician's orders.
• Leads, guides, supervise, teach, and help team members in all daily activities.
• Demonstrates creativity in food preparation, problem solving, and reducing waste.
• Demonstrate Standards of Excellence when other duties are assigned.
