Staff Pharmacist - Per Diem

As a per diem, nonexemptCPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist,you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain the security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy

Schedule: This position will work up to 19 hours per week, providing coverage "as needed". This position will primarily provide coverage between the hours of 8:00 am-4:00 pm Monday-Friday. This position has no regularly scheduled hours.

Starting Pay: $67 per hour, (depending on related work experience)

About the Facility: Haven Behavioral Hospital of West Chester is a 72-bed licensed, acute care behavioral hospital that provides a safe, nurturing environment for the treatment of complex mental health and substance abuse issues. Offerings include innovative and customized treatments in both inpatient and outpatient programs. Care is customized based on individual needs and preferences to help individuals move past illness or addiction and take back control of their lives.  CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
  • Current State of Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing 
  • Experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting is preferred
  • Experience working with Pyxis preferred
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
  • Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
  • Effective communication skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements:

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
  • Hep B3 Series (or declination) 
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
