Staff Pharmacist - Per Diem

Description: As a per diem, nonexempt, CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain the security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.
Schedule: This position is scheduled to work one weekend a month both Saturday/Sunday from 12:00PM-4:00PM and provide PTO coverage as needed.
Starting Pay: $60.00 per hour
About the Facility: Austin Oaks is an 80-bed hospital providing unsurpassed mental health care in a variety of mental health programs for children, adolescent and adults. The 51,420 square foot facility provides comprehensive behavioral health and stabilization for children, adults, and adolescents. The beautiful oak tree lined campus will provide a confidential caring environment that promotes crisis resolution, positive self-awareness, social skills, and personal growth. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 5:30PM and Saturday/Sunday from 12:00PM-4:00PM. The pharmacy utilizes HCS.
Requirements:
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
- Current Pharmacist license in good standing in Texas
- Experience as a Pharmacist in a Hospital setting preferred
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
- Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
