Pharmacy Intern-Per Diem
Holly Hill Hospital-Main Campus
Raleigh North Carolina
As a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist to perform a variety of technician and pharmacist duties while in training to become proficient in general pharmacy practices, procedures, and etiquette. You will perform drug inventory and delivery services, as directed.
Schedule: This per diem position works 1 weekend per month (both Saturday and Sunday) from 8:00AM-4:30PM.
Starting Pay: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience.
About the Facilities: Holly Hill Hospital-Main campus is a 168 bed, Joint Commission accredited behavioral health hospital and Holly Hill Hospital-South Campus is a 64-bed Joint Commission accredited behavioral health hospital. Both hospitals provide inpatient services for adults facing mental health and addiction challenges. Services include inpatient mental health and addiction treatment, for adult mood disorders, panic and anxiety, bipolar and personality disorders, PTSD and trauma, grief and loss, depression, suicidal thoughts, schizophrenia and substance abuse/chemical dependency. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: The Main campus pharmacy is open Monday through Sunday 8:00AM to 4:30PM. HCS is the pharmacy order entry system and Omnicell is the automated dispensing cabinets.
- Actively enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Current North Carolina Pharmacy Intern License in good standing
- Detail oriented and a team player
- Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern in a hospital setting preferred
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements (may be required):
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- COVID Vaccine (or declination)
