SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsibilities include scheduling/rescheduling patients over the phone, greeting and registering/updating patients in the office and patient information in the office, verification of insurance benefits and general office duties.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Medical office environment. Mondays-Fridays | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Professionally greet patients on phone and in person.
· Accurately schedule patients for appointments.
· Update patient demographics.
· Verify insurance benefits.
· Keep patient lobby clean and orderly.
· Work with manufacture accounts to order product.
· General office duties.
· Will be cross trained to cover in other areas.

Requirements:SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
· Qualified candidate should have 1 year experience working in a medical office or hospital.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
· Must be well organized and detail oriented.
· Knowledge of GE Centricity , Practice Management software or TIMS for Audiology software beneficial.
· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
· Familiar with HIPPA privacy guidelines.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED required
