Overview

Crieghton University Medical Center at CHI Health is recruiting for a Vascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join their dynamic team of two Vascular Surgeons and one Physician Assistant to provide surgical and clinical assistance in multiple facets.

This position offers the opportunity for providers to advance in their surgical career with opportunities to cross cover for Vascular, Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery. On the job and course training are available once the provider has onboarded. More details of the position are as follows:

  • Paid Call
  • Monday - Friday work week
  • 30 days of paid time off

Responsibilities
    • Patient Care:
      • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
      • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
      • Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.
    • Communication:
      • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
      • Provide clear and concise medical information.
      • Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
    • Documentation:
      • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
      • Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
      • Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
    • Diagnostic Procedures:
      • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
      • Perform procedures as needed
      • Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
    • Team Collaboration:
      • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
      • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
      • Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.
    • Quality Improvement:
      • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Compensation Information:
$60.57 / Hourly - $60.57 / Hourly


Starting At: 60.57 Hourly
Up To: 70.67 Hourly
