Excellent Primary Care Physician Opportunity in Chino Valley, AZ (90 minutes from downtown Phoenix, AZ)

Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Group is seeking a full-time outpatient Internal Medicine Physician to join our established and growing practice in Chino Valley, AZ. Under direction from the CMO, the candidate provides patient care in an outpatient setting by diagnosing and treating disorders and diseases, performing patient exams, ordering or conducting diagnostic testing, and developing ongoing treatment and disease-management plans. In this role, the candidate will also prescribe medication and coordinate referrals as necessary, conduct early-detection screenings and maintain accurate patient records and charts. Effective communication with patients, physicians, staff, and administration is crucial.

• Is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Arizona.
• Is board certified or board eligible in their specialty.

• Demonstrates advanced competency in their specialty.

• Patient population - Mix of adult population- very few patients under 17. (they are routed to PM1) The biggest demographic is over 50.
• No peds.
• Work shift is 10 hours per day (4 days per week)
• Provider will have 4 hours of administrative time per week
• Daily patient volume: 20 patients per day
• On-Call Commitment (via phone): Averages 1-2 times per month
• Day will start will start at 7:30. Will see a mix of New patients, annual wellness, follow ups, acute appt and Hospital follow ups. Will generally see last patient at 4:40. Provider can do minor procedures. (we are set up for minor procedures).
• Procedures: Lesion removals, toenail removals, paps, joint injections, laceration repairs.

• Completion of an ACGME approved Internal Medicine residency program
• Current Board Certification or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Valid state medical license as MD or DO
• Valid DEA certificate
• New graduates considered

Compensation Information:
$122.91 / Hourly - $122.91 / Hourly
