Colorado Permanente Medical Group is seeking a board eligible or board-certified fellowship trained Ophthalmologist in Denver, Colorado 

We have an excellent opportunity to join a highly collegial team of ophthalmologists in Denver, Colorado.  

Our cornea subspecialists see patients on a referral basis and provide comprehensive cornea and cataract care. The medical and surgical cornea service is fully integrated with Kaiser Permanente's general ophthalmology and optometry departments, ensuring coordinated and seamless care. Our subspecialists perform a wide range of procedures, including cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, corneal crosslinking, and complex anterior segment surgery. This position offers a high surgical volume and the opportunity to focus on areas of special interest. With the depth and breadth of expertise within our group, there is ample support for continued skill development and professional growth.

Our practice is stable and growing.  We are one of the largest ophthalmology practices in Colorado.  We are protected from nonmedical interests such as private equity.  This is a shareholder track position with opportunity at year 3 to become a shareholder of Colorado Permanente Medical Group.

Our group is 18 collegial and supportive ophthalmologists with nearly all subspecialities represented including 2 full time glaucoma subspecialists.  The practice you will step into is turn-key.  Volumes excess of sufficient to support a third surgical glaucoma subspecialist exist currently without need for practice building.

Our physicians are free to focus on clinical medicine.  The practice is professionally managed.  Though opportunities to pursue leadership roles exist, there is no expectation of administrative responsibilities for group physicians.  

State of the art equipment, devices, AI Abridge and Epic EMR are in use.  You will practice at a new medical office with an onsite ambulatory surgery center.  There is no expectation to satellite.

Our general ophthalmologists provide cataract care with cataract surgery, medical retina with intravitreal injections, medical glaucoma and provide in office procedures chalazion, lesion removal and lasers.

  • Pay range: minimum $(365,620) and maximum $(430,141).  *Salary will be based on years of experience and FTE.
