Job Description
The Nursing department has positions open for Student Workers in the simulation labs. The student worker will receive training to perform assigned duties of the position. Duties will be performed under supervision to insure completeness and accuracy of tasks performed.
Keep lab rooms clean and neat, including cleaning of equipment.
Assist with stocking and organizing supplies.
Assist with the set-up and breakdown of lab carts.
Assist with set-up, breakdown, and ensuring proper working order of lab equipment.
Participate in open labs.
Assist students in the use of lab equipment and supplies during open labs.
Adhere to OSHA Guidelines and lab safety and security.
Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Able to stand for periods of 5 hours.
Able to walk for periods of 2-3 hours .
Able to bend and twist at the waist.
Able to grasp, push, pull, and do fine manipulation with both hands.
Able to reach above and below shoulder level.
Able to lift at least 10-15 lbs.
Reports to the Simulation Lab Manager and/or Program Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a third or fourth semester nursing student.
Must be checked off on all NURS 115 skills.

$14.00 Hourly
