Job Description
Instructor will teach courses in subject matter pertaining to Radiation Therapy Technology. Teaching includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Teaching assignments will be courses that prepare students for a career as a radiation therapist
Assignments may be any combination of classroom and online modes
Assignments may be any combination of morning, afternoon and evening hours
Assignments may be any combination of any days of the week including weekends
Assignments may be any combination of courses for which instructor is qualified
Oversee specialty lab areas and classrooms
Collaborate with other RDTP faculty in developing courses and selecting textbooks
Interface with the medical community to develop new clinical sites.
Participate in local professional organization meetings
Maintain relationships with communities and constituencies served by the college
Seek out, develop, and maintain contacts with the medical community
Establish and maintain contractual relationships with clinical sites
Work closely with Program/Clinical Director to ensure program provides optimal results for the needs of the students.
Recommend to the Program/Clinical Director clinical rotations that provides optimal results for the needs of the program and the students
Recommend to the Program/Clinical Director needed curriculum modifications, additions, or deletions as they pertain to program courses and student clinical education preparation
Recommend to Program/Clinical Director action on student grievance and appeals
Advise students as needed.
Advise students regarding program requirements and make appropriate referrals
Participate in student recruitment activities, including the preparation of printed materials and attendance at health fairs
Monitor and advise students to ensure appropriate progress towards program completion
Instruct didactic classes as assigned by Program/Clinical Director with a minimum of 1 I.U. per semester
Maintain student records; i.e.: grades, attendance, clinical competencies etc
Maintain current knowledge of clinical and education skills through continuing professional development

Bachelor's Degree
ARRT Credential
2 years full-time professional experience in a clinical setting

$925.00 Per Instructional Unit/ $46.25 per hour for lab.
