Job Description
Purpose
The DxS Office Assistant will be a vital member of our team, assisting in the daily administration and support within the Digital Experience Services/IT department. This role requires someone who is highly motivated and ambitious with technology, research, creative thinking, and innovation skills. Applicants are expected to be tech-savvy with a knowledge of Microsoft applications, provide a high level of customer service, demonstrate exemplary interpersonal skills, and maintain a professional attitude at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Executive Assistant to the CIO and department leadership with daily duties.
Assist with clerical duties such as preparing, writing, or proofreading reports, slides for a presentation, or emails, making copies, coordinating and scheduling meetings, etc.
Manage and prioritize incoming emails, calls, inquiries, and requests, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Conduct research and gather relevant information to support decision-making processes by leadership.
Maintain department supplies and inventories. Track status, orders, purchases, and maintain or distribute supplies as needed.
Coordinate, organize, and take minutes at meetings, and support other department activities and functions. Schedules or obtains use of rooms and sets up rooms and equipment for use.
Create content and design web pages, flyers, emails, signage, etc.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Capable of handling multiple tasks
Organized and flexible
Able to handle confidential/sensitive information in a professional and secure
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and attention to detail).
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Proficiency in using productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite including Teams and programs like Canva, photoshop, snagit, Adobe.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong knowledge of IT concepts, terminology, and processes.
Design capabilities to assist with flyers, newsletters, etc.

$12.00 per hour
