Working within the Development Approvals and Inspections (DAI) section, and under the guidance of the Program Lead, you will be instrumental in supporting diverse service areas, contributing to business plans, and ensuring the successful implementation of key projects. Your expertise in data analytics and reporting will provide a holistic view of the section's business needs, enabling data-driven decision-making and the development of operational strategies that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What will you do?
- Lead and manage complex implementation projects, defining goals, objectives, and deliverables
- Build and manage project teams, collaborating with diverse service areas
- Oversee procurement, manage contracts and budgets, and ensure compliance with City policies
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research using various tools
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data to measure operational performance and project impacts
- Identify trends, issues, and gaps, and implement best practices
- Develop a deep understanding of operational needs and performance metrics
- Advise leadership on operational strategies and process optimization based on data analysis
- Support the evaluation of operational initiatives and analytics projects
- Actively support continuous improvement of planning and development of best practices
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Develop systems and approaches to enhance service delivery efficiency and quality
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the organization and with external partners
- Facilitate cross-departmental and external stakeholder meetings
- Develop and execute communication and change management plans
- Support the Program Lead on recruitment activities
- Mentor and support junior team members
