Description

Reporting to the Supervisor, Mobility Monitoring, the primary purpose of the Mobility Data Assistant position is to provide procurement, administrative, data collection, and processing  support to the Monitoring and Analysis team.

What will you do? 

  • Provide contract and procurement support to the team related to purchasing, leasing, tenders, and contracts
  • Prepare and process purchase requisitions, orders for required materials, supplies, and services as well as following up with vendors on shipment and delivery
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to help ensure mobility data collection plans meet client needs
  • Manage services and maintain office equipment and facilities, including repairs
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests for mobility data and information managed by the Monitoring and Analysis team 
  • Assist in the testing the upgrades to the data collection request management system as well as testing the reporting tools
  • Assist in data processing, including manual counting from the pre-recorded video
  • Participate in field data collection as needed
  • Run programs and produce reports and/or data files to update shared folders and websites
  • Update location-related data and maps
  • Conduct geocoding and validations to support mobility data collection, processing and reporting as well as update status on client requests
  • Program traffic data collection equipment for data collection, download the equipment (NC, Miovision and Blackcat)
  • Other related responsibilities
