As a key liaison between financial support teams and operational teams, this position is responsible for translating operational data into financial project definitions and ensuring alignment with departmental goals and the annual budget process. This includes driving cost recovery strategies and ensuring that financial deliverables meet the department's long-term objectives.

The role requires advanced analytical, financial, and strategic planning skills to drive process improvements related to fees, ad hoc projects, and data-related inquiries. By collaborating with finance, operations, and leadership teams, this position supports the successful implementation of key branch initiatives and ensures alignment with the department's budgeting framework, contributing to the organization's overall financial performance.

What will you do?

• Lead the annual fee schedule review in alignment with the department's guiding principles and the adherence to the Planning and Development Business Model Reserve
• Uphold the Planning and Development Business Model's overall cost recovery approach while ensuring a balanced cost recovery strategy for individual services
• Oversee the fee schedule review, ensuring compliance with the department's principles and alignment with the Business Model's reserve fund
• Collaborate closely with finance and branch stakeholders to integrate directed changes into the fee structure effectively
• Coordinate Business Analytics activities focused on Department optimization through quality improvement projects involving operational methods, financial analysis, risk analysis, and business process gap identification. Collaborate with business areas/clients on project scopes
• Compile and evaluate qualitative and quantitative evidence to support initiatives
• Devise methods for collecting and analyzing background material using mathematical and statistical techniques
• Collaborate with Business Solutions & Analytics Colleagues and DSS Unit staff to prepare reports and data visualizations
• Offer timely and meaningful responses to data-related inquiries
• Collaborate with management and stakeholders across diverse business activities, offering recommendations to achieve desired business outcomes
• Other related duties as assigned
