MANAGER STRATEGIC INTEGRATION - PRODUCT WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? This position is responsible for enabling CNB's strategic growth agenda, reducing risk and cost, and enabling CNB client capabilities by identifying opportunities within CNB and RBC CUSO/ Canada product management for process alignment, enhancement and simplification. This includes working with executive management to identify and prioritize potential enhancement opportunities for CNB to leverage and/or integrate with RBC capabilities, aligned with strategic objectives. The incumbent will develop and execute a product management integration framework to align enhancement opportunities to existing RBC strategic initiatives with the goal of enhancing CNBs client experience and meeting CNB strategic agenda while driving down risk and cost and developing closer integration between CNB and RBC as appropriate. Working closely in partnership with the Line of Business and Relationship Managers, the incumbent will prioritize enhancement opportunities based on CNB priorities, assess the type of alignment to RBC initiatives, influence joint initiative strategy and execution to insure CNB client capabilities and strategic agenda are met by initiative outcomes. In partnership with front-office, product management, and technology, successfully execute programs to enhance CNB capabilities, reduce cost, and simplify processes. The incumbent will collaborate closely with RBC CUSO and RBC Canada on strategy and alignment on product management, capabilities and initiatives to enable enhanced solutions for CNB clients. What you will do
- Uses proactive, consultative skills and strategies to identify needs and opportunities for product/service enhancements based on CNB strategic objectives and RBC CUSO/ Canada enhancement initiatives.
- Prioritize enhancement opportunities based on CNB priorities, assess the type of alignment to RBC CUSO/ Canada initiatives, influence joint initiative strategy and execution to ensure CNB client capabilities and strategic agenda are met by initiative outcomes.
- Analyzes the CNB business requirements for the given solution or initiative and ensures that integration CUSO solution meets requirements or can integrate with existing CNB solutions and processes to meet client needs.
- Develop and execute a product integration framework to align enhancement opportunities to existing RBC CUSO strategic initiatives with the goal of enhancing CNBs client experience and meeting CNB strategic agenda while driving down risk and cost and developing closer integration between CNB and RBC CUSO/ Canada product management as appropriate.
- In partnership with front-office, operations, and technology, successfully execute programs to enhance CNB capabilities, reduce cost, and simplify processes.
- Complies fully with all procedures as well as all regulatory requirements. Complete all required training.
- Completes special projects as requested.
Must-Have*
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 10 years of experience in global banking or equivalent financial services experience
- 10 years of Bank / Payments technology, operations and risk experience
- 10 years of executive execution of enterprise-scale transformation projects
- 10 years of people leadership
Skills and Knowledge
- Demonstrates extensive understanding of financial services product management, accounting principles, financial concepts, payment processing.
- Extensive knowledge of the practices and regulations that govern the banking industry and the implications of federal, state and local regulations.
- Extensive understanding of the principles and practices associated with the analysis of business operations.
- Familiarity with US bank risk management and operations
- Familiarity with US bank regulation
- Knowledgeable of industry issues and competitive products/services
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to gather, arrange, compile, interpret, analyze, summarize and evaluate information and data to identify enhancement opportunities and formulate conclusions and recommended actions.
- Ability to set priorities, objectives and goals.
- Graduation from a four-year college or university with concentration in a discipline directly related to the duties of the position.
