CREDIT RISK REPORTING OFFICER
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Responsible for portfolio risk monitoring, identification and mitigation strategies at division and enterprise levels. This role will leverage expertise in data science, business strategy, analysis, and visualization techniques to support the First Line of Defense Credit Review function to provide detailed credit metrics analytics and trend analysis. Will be responsible for work across the entire data analytics process including data acquisition, preparation, reporting, and visualization.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Credit Risk Data ManagementConduct portfolio analytics at both the Division, and Enterprise levels. Collaborate with the Risk Strategy & Governance Discipline's Data Analytics and Reporting Team to provide detailed credit metrics analytics and trend analysis • Manage large data sets in Excel, use macros and work in a database• Develop and manage a credit risk assessment system o Obtain the complete loan data required to run a QC/QA Testing Projecto Provide portfolio analytics for sampling/build sampling criteria toolo Manage the line sheets to ensure efficient functionality and closeout/lock down once completedo Manage completed projects to ensure that all supporting documentation is archived
  • Ongoing Credit Risk MonitoringCollaborate with the Risk Strategy & Governance Discipline's Data Analytics and Reporting Team to provide ongoing credit risk monitoring • Perform portfolio analytics for sampling/build sampling criteria tool• Manage desk review/testing line sheets to ensure efficient functionality and close out• Draft Quarterly Credit Risk Monitoring Reporto Perform relevant macroeconomic analytics for each Line of Business (“LOB”)o Perform portfolio analytics for each LOB
  • Quarterly Risk ReportingCollaborate with the Credit Portfolio Risk Team and Risk Strategy & Governance Discipline to provide Quarterly Risk Reporting • Perform portfolio analytics for each LOB in the QRR• Perform Enterprise view of portfolio analytics by:o Divisiono LOBo NAICso Product Type
  • Track and manage Issues Management system (outstanding issues specific to Credit Risk)o Create reminders to Issue owners, follow through for updates, and update the system.o Assist the Credit Risk Officer with LOB follow-up and progress update documentationo Provide trend report on emerging Self-Identified Issues, recurring themes (Enterprise wide and LOB specific

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Required Qualifications*
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk portfolio management, credit administration, loan origination, and/or credit analysis
  • Minimum 3 years experience with data analytic tools
  • Minimum 3 years of Banking experience
Additional Qualifications
  • Strong experience in Banking with experience in portfolio management, credit analysis; credit administration, loan origination, credit analysis;
  • In depth knowledge of portfolio management practices; credit administration; loan underwriting standards;
  • Problem solving; analytical; written and oral communication; organized; ability to understand and convey concepts; ability to deal with ambiguity; computer proficiency;
  • Ability to assess and quantify economic risks associated with lending and credit.
  • Excellent skills working with large time-series data. Statistical background with data exploration and analysis using R, Python and Excel is required. Experience with Tableau or other visualization tools is preferred.
  • Ability to take complex problems and data and make sense by providing robust insights and solutions.
  • Strong background in data analysis with ability to present complex technical solutions to business teams.
  • Strong expertise in data querying tools and advance skills in SAS, SQL and/or DataMeer
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (including Pivot Tables and data importing) and Tableau
  • Solid communication skills, and ability to effectively converse with technical and non-technical contacts
  • Proven analytical and problem solving experience, with a collaborative attitude
  • Knowledge of data related to Retail and/or Commercial banking products

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting base salary: $92,114 - $156,880 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
