- Job Requirements
- Previous Travel experience: preferred but not required
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Newborns to geriatrics, DKA, Sepsis, Respiratory failure, ETOH withdrawal, A fib RVR
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: ICU drips, sedation, intubation and management, reading cardiac rhythms, understanding of RT equipment
- RNs required to titrate drips: Yes
- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Insulin, diltiazem
- Schedule Information
- Shifts Details: Rotating, 7a-7p, 7p-7a
- Self-scheduling or Block scheduling: Based on unit needs
- Weekend Requirements: based on unit need
- Holiday Requirements: based on unit need
- Call or Standby Requirement: No, unless unit is closed

- Hospitalist &/or Intensivist in house 24/7: No Intensivist, Hospitalist in house during the day
- Consult EICU on all ICU patients
- RT in ICU 24/7: No
- RT Equipment: Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow
- RN management of RT equipment at night necessary
- Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit: Yes - RNs must read and interpret
- RNs required to read their own strips: Yes
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Caribbean Blue
- Orientation shifts: 2-3 shifts
- Additional Details
- RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
- Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
