- Specialty: Rad Tech 7050
- Provide care in inpatient, outpatient, OR, ER settings to a variety of patients including pediatrics through geriatrics
- Perform a high volume of procedures in ER, utilize C-arm and fluoroscopy in surgeries
- Efficiently handle an average of 70-80 scans/studies per day in addition to 5-15 OR cases
- Job Requirements
- Must have C-arm experience
- Prefer experience with O-Arm but training is available
- Experience with portables and fluoroscopy is required
- Schedule Information
- 8 or 12-hour shifts available Monday to Sunday with variable start times
- Shifts start at 0600, 0700, 0730, 1130 for Days, and 1900-0700 for Nights (primarily weekend shifts)
- Daytime shifts with supervisors and coordinators available
- Unit Specific Information
- Department: Rad Tech / XRay Tech
- 7 treatment areas within the department
- Department utilizes EPIC 'Citrix' for EMR/PACS
- Equipment includes OEC c-arms, Metronics o-arm, Fuji general, portable fuji, Siemens fluoro
- There is no use of RRAs (Registered Radiology Assistants)
- Radiologists are in-house Monday through Friday from 0800 to 1630, with after-hours images sent to teleradiology
- Additional Details
- No requirement to start IVs for the given department
- 1.5-2 weeks of unit/department-specific orientation will be provided, including clinical and EPIC training
