- Certification Details
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
- Job Details
- Provide postoperative care to surgical patients – vigilant patient observation; vitals, rhythm, airway and management of pain.
- Also, phase II in preparing patient for discharge to home.
- Experience working with airway management, IV medications and pain management.
- Experience with Stage I, II and trauma recovery required.
- Good Samaritan is a Trauma II center.
- Nurse to patient ratio: 1-2, mostly 1:1.
- How many cases per day: busy day 25.
- Job Requirements
- ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
- Knowledge of Meditech documentation preferred.
- May be asked to float to Outpatient department with recovery of stage I and II patients, depending on volume demand of patients.
- Schedule Information
- Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks.
- On-Call and Weekend coverage discussed in interview.
- Hours/Shift: staggered shifts, 12-hour shifts, starting at 0600, 0700, 0800.
- Would also like them to take call;0700-1730.

- Scrubs are provided.
