- Schedule Information
- Shifts are 0630-1900, 1830-0700.
- Self-scheduling policy in place.
- Every third weekend work requirement, could be up to every other weekend based on unit needs.
- 1 major and 1 minor holiday requirement.
- Floating requirements include potential floats to Postpartum and being a 'sitter'.
- Unit Specific Information
- 16 labor rooms and 9 antepartum rooms.
- 3 OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections.
- 7 bed triage unit for patients over 20 weeks with pregnancy complaints.
- 36 Postpartum beds.
- Up to 400 births per month.
- RNs are required to titrate drips, including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and pain medications.
- Charge Nurse is present on both shifts; duty delegation varies.
- 2 OBTs per shift.
- OB/Neonatologist available 24/7.
- Anesthesia, in the form of CRNAs, is available 24/7.
- Unit specific orientation for incoming staff lasts 2-3 shifts.
- Additional Details
- Surgical scrubs are provided.
- Positive attributes for a successful candidate include teamwork, positive attitude, flexibility, eagerness to learn, and openness to new challenges.
- Radius Rule of 50 miles.
- No full-time, part-time, or PRN work with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
- RTO needed upfront and limited to 7 days or less per 13-week contract.
