JOB PURPOSE

The Operations Manager will serve as the primary liaison for Red Apple Uniforms with all parties within the production and logistical teams. They will manage the inventory process and logistics, and will work with stakeholders to ensure development, production and deliverable objectives are met.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Operations Manager shall support Red Apple Uniforms (RAU) as follows:

  • Serve as the primary contact for RAU inventory, logistics and account management.
  • Manage the logistics processes from order to import in coordination with the RAU Production Teams.
  • Vette and implement inventory system.
  • Manage all inventory and process transfers in Shopify.
  • Manage 3PL vendor relations and facilitate negotiations.
  • Manage inventory cycle counts as dictated by the RAU Administrative and Financial Teams.
  • Act as a liaison with insurance carriers to provide inventory valuation reports for locations and/or imported shipments.
  • Provide support to School Stores and Pop-Up/Uniform Sale events.
  • Attend professional venues for networking and vetting of new product and services.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the President of RAU
  • Follow federal and state laws, as well as established company policies.

  12. Demonstrates excellent oral (including presentations), written, interpersonal (active listening), skills and ability in negotiating and influencing, great phone etiquette.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the account management, inventory and/or logistics field
  • Commitment to company values.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Usual office working conditions.
  • Travel within the US.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to travel independently within organization and in the community to attend various meetings with production teams, clients and potential clients.
  • Set up for conferences, workshops, and other events as needed.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with Red Apple Uniforms' salary and benefit policy. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by Red Apple Uniform.

 

FLSA OVERTIME CATEGORY

Job is exempt from the minimum wage and overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

 

EVALUATION

Performance will be evaluated in accordance with Red Apple Uniforms' policy as well as with the outlined Bonus structure and goals.
