As a HRIS Specialist, you will be supporting the HRIS team in their response to internal and external customers in a timely manner while providing support in the area of HRIS reporting, audits and security.

How You Will Impact Education

Instruction/Education Responsibilities

  • Comply with internal policies and procedures, confidentiality and data security procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service in all communication with internal or external areas.
  • Oversee the HRIS outlook inbox; Respond to/Direct requests appropriately to ensure the team is providing feedback in a timely manner
  • Run standard reports daily, weekly, biweekly or weekly and send to appropriate distribution lists.
  • Assists in the implementation of strategic compensation and benefits programs that promote market competitiveness to attract and retain talent.
  • Establishes and maintains HRIS user security and access permissions.
  • Set up or adjust new FEIN pay groups within HCM for access and utilization by all areas of HR.
  • Maintains familiarity with all computer systems used in the department, utilizing them as needed.
  • Identifies areas of opportunity to improve existing HRIS processes, functionality and workflow, and maximizes technological capabilities to reduce manual processes and to improve data management and efficiency.
  • Partners with Payroll to coordinate retrieval and reporting functions.
  • Creates and maintains documentation of processes and training documents for external departments for use of HRIS tools
  • Assists with various department projects as needed.
  • Process regular uploads for unpaid employees and time management
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years' experience in human resources administration or HRIS systems administration
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related discipline.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • ADP Vantage system knowledge preferred
  • May perform other duties assigned.
